60th SI Art Show & Sale 11/2-4/07
This year I was one of the featured artists at the show. I was able to bring as many pieces as I wanted. In addition to framed paintings and drawings and my print stand (shown in the photo), I also brought my display case of ACEO’s and miniatures. Since ACEO’s are still new to our local crowd, I had a plaque with the display that explained them. I was pleased that my large abstract sold along with prints and note cards.
Kimberton Community Day 9/15/07
Our local township has an annual event where the residents can come to enjoy free music, food, demonstrations and activities. This year's theme was "Fall into Art," and I was among 4 artisans who demonstrated their craft. 2 ladies showed their beading talents and a gentleman brought his cold cast bronze pieces to work on. I demonstrated acrylic painting on one of my cast resin iris pieces. We were allowed to bring our art for show and sale and I did bring my usual assortment of prints, photos, note cards and ACEO's. It was a windy day and was a challenge to keep everything from flying away. Joel and Shane were a big help.
